Well … it’s really easy.

All you have to do is read this answer the following question.

Mac is not a conformist — as you will learn when you read After Dark. She’s her own clique if you will and if I even told her she was her own clique, she’d probably punch me. Well … when *I* was in high school, there was a club that everyone wanted to be in. Rather, I say ‘everyone’ but I didn’t want to because I felt (and this was 100% perception) that the people inside it were ALL cliquey. Yes … they were. So much so that one of the interview questions that was asked was this:

“If you were a tree, what tree would you be?”

Well … I gotta tell you … I wasn’t a tree, I wasn’t going to BE a tree and I’m still … as of now … NOT a tree!

What the heck kind of question is that in an interview to join a SERVICE CLUB?

Did they think my being an oak would allow me to serve the poor or disadvantaged better? or perhaps a Willow with its windy arms and branches?

Clearly, I have issues if 20 years later, THIS is a topic I still think about. 🙂

So … today, I’m going to play the clique-game and ask one pointed question. The best 10 answers get a signed bookmark!
