What’s in a name?

I find it fun to learn why authors, writers, photographers, actors, actresses, use a pen name and why they chose the one they did.

Yes, Emi J. Gayle is a pen name, made from three names. In fact (as my daughters like to say) the name was going to be Emi Gayle which is a combination of my daughters whom we often call “EmiGayle” and “Abily”, but the ‘J’ of the name specifically asked why he wasn’t a part of it.
